Dr. Ronald Spatz (University of Alaska) was a visiting scholar at Â鶹ÊÓƵin Summer 2019 and shared with Â鶹ÊÓƵcolleagues that the literary journal he edits, the Alaska Quarterly Review, is read across America. During his time at Â鶹ÊÓƵhe connected with Â鶹ÊÓƵscholars and dedicated a section of the 2020 issue to promote the Indigenous Voices Awards, giving authors international exposure. This support is much appreciated by the IVAs organizing team, including INDG Chair Deanna Reder and ENGL professor Sophie McCall.
