For members of SFU’s Southeast Asian Research Initiative and any others interested in Southeast Asian studies or pursuing a research project related to Southeast Asia across Â鶹ÊÓƵand beyond, this is your opportunity to share your research, receive feedback from fellow academics, and learn about new opportunities. This research-sharing event aims to stimulate conversations and discussions around the present and future of Southeast Asian studies in SFU, while ensuring that students with active research on the region receives all the support they can get.
To begin the event, several members will discuss their ongoing research projects in places ranging from Malaysia to the Philippines.
This unique event also presents an opportunity for those who are simply interested in Southeast Asia to also observe what Southeast Asian studies looks like in action.This event is open not only for members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵSoutheast Asian Research Initiative but also to external members.
