Biography
Madeline鈥檚 research will focus on investigating the geochemistry and evolution of volatiles in the the subglacial mafic volcanic deposits of Q虛welq虛welu虂sten / Mount Meager through melt inclusions. Their project will employ Raman spectroscopy and microthermometry to identify the volatile components and track the phase changes to deepen the understanding of the Q虛welq虛welu虂sten / Mount Meager magmatic system. Additionally, they will explore for the presence and the evaluate the role of SO2 clathrate-hydrates in sulphur storage and eruption dynamics.
