Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the Â鶹ÊÓƵBeedie School of Business?

I chose to pursue an MBA to strengthen my leadership skills, better navigate complex organizational environments, and create meaningful impact in the healthcare or academic sector. Â鶹ÊÓƵBeedie School of Business was a natural choice for me, as my undergraduate experience at Â鶹ÊÓƵwas a positive one. I built strong relationships with professors, received guidance from the career centre, and gained practical experience through the co-op program. The support and growth I received from my undergrad stayed with me beyond graduation. As a result, I knew I wanted to return to Â鶹ÊÓƵto continue my academic and professional development.

How would you describe Â鶹ÊÓƵBeedie’s culture?

Â鶹ÊÓƵBeedie’s culture is filled with collaboration, teamwork, personal development, active engagement, connection building, resources and support. The culture at Â鶹ÊÓƵis welcoming, so much so, that I decided to return to complete my MBA!

What has been your favourite experience so far? What are you looking forward to?

I just started my program in Spring 2026 so my favourite experience so far has been meeting my mentor, cohort and students in other cohorts. I am looking forward to getting to know the people I have met so far and building some lasting connections that I can carry outside this program. I am also looking forward to getting involved more in the Â鶹ÊÓƵBeedie community!
